Trying to work on a after-house-sale finance plan. How much is your annual boat insurance, and who is your insurer? I'm going to want a policy that covers loss as well as liability since I will be living aboard. My current home and auto insurance agent seems clueless about marine insurance.
I'm in Alaska, and I'm looking for coverage for Alaska, BC, US west coast, and Mexico. A breakout of liability and loss coverage would be useful, as would amounts for Mexico, Panama, and Caribbean.
If you have a marine savvy insurance broker that you can recommend, that would also be helpful.
