Hi I have a 331 and have been looking for a rail mounting bracket for my 9hp outboard. All the one I’m finding are for tube rails. Anyone know which company, model, fits the teak top rail of my, our, Nauticats. Thanks Anthony

Had the same dilemma with my NC33 so ended up fabricating one. I may be able to dig up a picture or two (or take some) but currently have it removed and stowed since winter is coming
The crux of the design is marine ply for mounting the engine which sits outboard of the hand rail and extends from just above deck level to a height above the rail sufficient to manage the outboard motor mounting. Below the teak rail are two hardwood cross braces (2) that span the width of adjacent vertical stanchions. The cross braces are glued and bolted to the marine ply. I then use u-bolts to attach the cross braces to the stanchions. Everything is then varnished and the wood fits in nicely with the motif of the teak rail.
I'm very happy with the set up. I doubled the marine ply up where my Honda 9.9 clamps on since that area takes a little bit of a beating. The mizzen boom works perfectly for hoisting and setting the engine on the mount.
Was fun and easy to make, and best of all inexpensive.

Mine is also hand made. A piece of stainless 'U' channel ober the rail to protect it and a piece of plywood to clamp the motor to. Also rubber mat to protest the surfaces.

Very Well done - Man7sell. Looks beautiful and certainly an improvement over mine.
